Sometimes on a business trip you’re lucky to find an interesting place (most of the time you stay in not too memorable places). The 100 years old hotel Alexandra is devoted to (retro-) Danish furniture and has a whole collection of Danish design chairs (also every room has one). The place feels atmospheric and the rooms, though I had a small one, are very cosy.  Don’t worry about the age of the hotel, it’s contemporary with all amenities. Breakfast is very good too and the location in the heart of Copenhagen makes it easy to explore the city on foot. A traditional design classic.
